Public Works

The mission of the Public Works Department is to operate and maintain public infrastructure efficiently and effectively in order to protect public safety and enhance the quality of life for those living and working in Umatilla.

The Public Works Department provides responsive, effective, and professional day to day maintenance of the City's physical and environmental infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for residents and make Umatilla a sustainable and desirable place to live, work, and visit. Public Works plays a key role in the success of Umatilla City's government. Department employees provide many of the direct services Umatilla residents and visitors receive. This includes streets, sewer, water, parks, solid waste, facilities, and City's fleet.
