-Parks and Recreation- Contact: Esmeralda Perches DESCRIPTIONThe city applied for a Regional Trail Plan Grant from Oregon Parks and Recreation Department for the development of Trail #2 listed on our Master Trail Plan. The plan is to remove the current asphalt and create a wide 10' ADA Accessible trail leading from Powerline Road to the pedestrian footbridge. Why it's needed- This trail is needed to provide a critical link especially for persons with mobility constraints and who do not own an automobile and where there is no transit. It connects residents from the south hill region to the downtown region where they may access transportation, schools, retails, restaurants and supermarket. FINANCIAL
