Power City/Brownell Area Sewer Improvements

-Community Development- Project Contact: Brandon Seitz Financial Contact: Melissa Ince DESCRIPTIONThe city is in the process of designing and constructing an all-new City sewer services pipeline to the Power City area down Lind Road and behind the Port of Entry off Brownell Road. This is part of an overall utility project to construct the pipeline in 2023. Why it's needed-Between both communities, a total of 49 new connections will be served by the system being designed. The communities of Brownell and Power City are made up of low income persons with individual septic systems. The residential members of these communities have discussed connection to the City of Umatilla's wastewater system to increase reliability for the property owners and remove the maintenance responsibilities associated with private septic tanks.
