Teen Library Intern

The City of Umatilla is recruiting for a Teen Library Intern. This position requires applicants to be currently enrolled at Umatilla High School, be between the ages of 14 and 17, must have knowledge of computers and common software operation, and must be able to pass a background check. The Teen Library Intern will work under the supervision of Library Staff to develop a connected learning project which entails creating, advertising, and running a program, event, or resource for community youth. The position will also help with summer reading events, assist patrons in library services, and help library operations run efficiently. 

This is a temporary, part-time position and would work up to 20 hours a week and would finish in August. Salary is $13.20 per hour.
